The Pine Sports Discord server has grown to over 6,000 people, and we're making a continuous effort to bring special features to the Pine Sports community. This article will outline all of the Pine Bot features, new and old, including the Player Prop, Best Lines, and Arbitrage Alert features. We also have some exciting new updates to come in the near future!

Player Props
The Player Prop feature is the original tool that the Pine Bot was made for. This feature will create the Last 10 chart for any player prop in MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL. Start off by entering and clicking/tapping on one of the following commands depending on which sport you want to use to start the command.

Once you've tapped/clicked which one, you'll see the 'search' prompt show up in the text box. The is where you will enter exactly what you want the Bot to pull from Pine. The format for this is:
[Player Name] [Line # (optional] [Prop].
For Example:
/nba search: Julius Randle 24.5 Points

This example pulls the graph for Randle's last 10 games compared to a line of 24.5 Points, showing he went over in 3/10 and under in 7/10 with an average of 22.1 points per game. The Bot also generates a link below the graph which you can follow to view the full prop analysis on Pine-Sports.com

This can be used for all four major sports and works exactly the same.  Some examples:
/nfl Search: Tom Brady 0.5 Interceptions
/nhl Search: Tyler Seguin Shots on Goal
/mlb Search: Aaron Judge 2.5 Total Bases

Best Lines
The Best Lines Feature is one of the newer additions to the Pine Bot. This feature will search popular sportsbooks for the best possible price on a game bet that you are interested in playing. It may not seem like much, taking a bet for -125 odds instead of -135 odds, but line shopping is a great way to ensure you are maximizing your value. Those small line differences add up a lot over a lifetime of betting.

To use the best lines bot, start off by typing in the '/best' and then click/tap the prompt depending on which sport you want to view.

Once you click the sport, a list of each available game for that sport will appear and you just click/tap on the one that you want to view. For this example I will be using the Cavaliers/Kings NBA game tonight. Following the game selection, you'll now have a prompt to select bet type: Moneyline, Spread, or Game Total. I want to view the Spread for this matchup.

Lastly, you have an optional prompt to exclude specific sportsbooks from the search. This is useful if it's showing the best price is on a book that you cannot access due to region. If you can access it, but don't have an account, the bot will provide a link for you to go sign up with that book and place your bet on the best price! As you can see below, the bot found the best line for the Home team at -3.5 (-110) on BetMGM, and the best line for Visitor at a line of +4 (-107).

Arbitrage, Low Fee, and Middling Alerts
We have another new feature to the Pine Bot, which is an alert system for arbitrage opportunities, middling bets, or low fee options. No inputs are needed for this feature, but a special channel is set up, "#low-fee-arbitrage-bot" which you can follow. First, let's go through the Arbitrage alerts.

Arbitrage
Arbitrage in sports betting is when you bet on both sides of a potential outcome when prices allow you to guarantee a profit. Obviously sports books do not like this, so you should never try to find arbitrage opportunities on the same book or else you are very very likely to get limited or banned. Here is a recent arbitrage opportunity from the Bot:

As you can see, Fanduel is offering the LA Clippers at +180 odds to win, while Draftkings is offering the Miami Heat at -175 to win. By taking both of these wagers, you can expect to make 0.65% profit no matter what. I know this percentage is small, but some arbitrage opportunities are bigger and with enough volume you can actually turn a decent profit using this tactic. Find yourself an arb betting calculator online to make sure you play each side correctly to guarantee yourself a profit.

Just for example, if I were to place $100 on the Heat at -175, I would have a payout of $157.10.
Then, If I head over to Fanduel and find the Clippers at +180, I can wager $56.11 to have a payout of $157.10.
My total wagers placed becomes $156.11 and the guaranteed payout if $157.10. You can maximize your profit even further by correctly cashing out the losing bet live during the game.

Middling
Middle Bets are one of my favorite things to use the bot for. A middling opportunity is when you can bet both sides of a spread of total score to guarantee yourself a win on one side with the potential for a push or win on the other side as well. The following example isn't one of the best middle opportunities as the margin is quite small, but at least shows how it works.

In this alert, you will see that Wynnbet is offering the Warriors at a -6 spread, and Bet365 is offering the Jazz at a +7.5 spread. By betting both sides, you win one of the two no matter what. If the Warriors win by 6 exactly then you win one and push the other, if the warriors win by 7 exactly then you win BOTH bets. Any other result and you win one/lose one.

I've found that Game Totals tend to have the biggest differences between them and therefor the most opportunity to hit both sides. For instance this same game had Under 238.5 on Ceasars and Over 234 on Barstool. That means if the game finished at 235, 236, 237, or 238 then you win BOTH bets.

Prizepicks and Underdog Line Comparisons
The final addition to our Pine Bot is the new alerts for Line differences between Prizepicks and Draftkings, as well as differences on Underdog Fantasy and Draftkings. This bot sends out a blast every 30 minutes with the top five line differences for NBA, NFL, and NHL props available. This can be very helpful to make sure you aren't taking any inflated prop lines on Prizepicks/Underdog that may have been picked too much from other users. For example, below you'll see Middleton Points is at 15.5 on PP, but only 14.5 on DK.

If you were considering the over, playing it on Prizepicks is probably not your best option. Instead, taking Melton on PP may have a little more value since Draftkings has the line a full point higher. Below you'll see the Underdog line differences for tonight's hockey props. I love finding plays at 2 when DK has those players at 2.5. No other sportsbooks that I know of offer these shot props at lines that don't end in '.5' so adding in the option of a push can help our chances.

Once again, if you aren't already in Discord then sign up at the link at the top of this article to be able to use all of these cool features. We have some new projects in the works for the Pine Bot as well.
