With Joel Embiid out, the Philadelphia 76ers will rely on their deep roster and impressive metrics on offense and defense to end their 12-game losing streak against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

The Philadelphia 76ers will take their 15-1 record over the past 16 home games into Friday's matchup against the Chicago Bulls. Without Joel Embiid, the Sixers still managed to pull off a 129-126 overtime win over Indiana on Wednesday, with James Harden leading the way with 26 points and eight assists and Montrezl Harrell adding 19 points and four blocked shots.

Philadelphia's depth was on full display, as seven players reached double figures in scoring against the Pacers, a season high. The 76ers also boast two prolific guards in Harden and Tyrese Maxey, each averaging more than 21 points per game, and are in the top five of the NBA in both three-point percentage and free throw percentage.

The Bulls, on the other hand, have been subpar this season with their 17-21 record. However, Chicago has been surprisingly successful against the East's best teams, boasting an 8-1 record against the top four teams in the Eastern Conference.

The Bulls have solid metrics on defense, ranking sixth in the NBA in defensive rebound rate (73.6%) and in the top five of the league in second-chance points allowed (12.6 per game). They are also in the top ten in turnover creation, free throw prevention, and points allowed in the paint.

Despite their impressive defense, the Bulls have had trouble stopping the Sixers, losing their last 12 head-to-head matchups. The 76ers have the depth and impressive metrics on offense and defense to end the 12-game skid and further extend their 15-1 record over the past 16 home games. I believe the 76ers have a good chance to come out on top in this matchup.
