Entrée (1u) - Miles Sanders (PHI) UNDER 5.5 Receiving Yards (-115 MGM)

As much as I want to believe in the 49ers fantastic run defense, the best way for a team to open open their offense is to establish the run. The Eagles have done a fantastic job all year running the ball versus defenses that they shouldn't be able to run the ball well on. That's probably why they were the #1 seed in the NFC and the 4th best rushing offense in the NFL.

Miles Sanders hasn't been involved as a passer all year and that continued last week in their route over the New York Giants. He didn't receive a single target that game and has only came up with one target in the last 3 weeks. With that being said, he's only gone over this number is 8/18 games this season and he's seeing guys like Gainwell and Scott take over some of his rushing snaps. Gainwell did only have his big game last week due to a long touchdown run and the blowout warranting Sanders rest to prepare for the 49ers but that doesn't mean they won't get any touches. Can't forget about QB Jalen Hurts, who even though didn't have a great rushing game last week, he still had 9 attempts.

I don't think the Eagles can afford to abandon the run if they get stopped on their first few possessions. They have the playmakers on the outside in Goedert, AJ Brown, and Devonta Smith to be able to stretch out this 49ers defense and bring success to the run game when the 9ers are thinking pass. Sanders ran 0 routes last week vs the Giants and even he brings in a target, I can't see Fred Warner letting it go for much.
