Darius Garland Over 22.5 Pts

Garland has faced the Celtics twice and has scored 29 points in both games. He is averaging almost 4 more points at home vs away and luckily tonight he will be at home. If Mitchell does not play, it is still okay as he has gone over this line 5/9 games without him. Garland loves to pullup and drive similar to most good scoring, playmaking guards, like Mitchell, and the Celtics are allowing the 4th most pullup field goals made and 46% of his shots are pullup attempts. 75% of his points come from drives and pullups. He has a 43% Pick and roll ball handler frequency at a 75% percentile. Boston has a 20% percentile in defending the pick and roll this season (7th worst this season). Whether Mitchell plays or not (participated in shootaround this morning) I am not worried about Marcus Smart because in the two matchups they’ve had, he has gone 7/12 from the field scoring 18 points against him. Boston switches a lot during pick and rolls so I am not worried about specific matchups, but for pick and roll guards, this is a great matchup when playing the Celtics.

John Collins Under 4.5 Reb

In the 10 games before Snyder had joined the team, he was averaging 29 minutes per game and he was averaging 3.8 rebounds on 8.5 rebound chances, and going under in 7/10 games. Since Snyder has been the coach, he has had 4, 3, and 1 rebounds with and average of 5.3 rebound chances per game, so asking for him to get 5 rebounds and be perfect in his opportunities is asking a lot. On top of that, since Quinn has been the coach, his minutes have been lowered to 21.9 per game, which is a significant decrease. In games under 25 minutes he has gone under this line in 5/9 games. Saddiq Bey has been taking some of his minutes. In the two previous games against Miami he had played 32 and 36 minutes grabbing 4 & 14 rebounds. The 14 rebound game was without Clint Capela and on the other end of the court Jimmy Butler did not play either, both who have lots of rebound chances. He had 1 rebound and 4 potential rebounds last game, lets hope the trend continues.
