Pick 6: J. Valanciunas o9.5 Rebounds ( -125)

Back to the well here. This game starts soon so I'll be quick. It's simple, Val is over this line in 7/L10, with 2 of those misses coming in the second game of back-to-backs for the Pels.

It's been a thing all season. The Pels play J. Val way less in game 2s of B2Bs. Two out of the 3 misses he's had in his last 10 were in those games where he played just 19 and 22 minutes. He's fully rested tonight and you can expect 28+ from him in a game that the Pels need to win.

28+ is enough minutes for me to bet J. Val over 9.5 rebounds, he hits it consistently when he plays full minutes. However, the fact that the Knicks are resting their starters is just another plus. With no Randle or Robinson to contend with, Val is going to see plenty of boards tonight. He does likely draw a Hartenstein matchup, who isn't a bad rebounder by any means. But it doesn't matter. There's plenty of rebounds to go around, considering those are the only two rebounders in this game. But I love my chances with Val going up against Hartenstein regardless.

This is a smash spot and Valanciunas is going to bounce back after a poor outing vs Sabonis a few days ago. I'm projecting 12, so I also would take this at a 10.5 line. You can also get a ladder in at FanDuel right now for J. Val 16+ Rebounds at +700. Big fan of that one.

My pick: J. Valanciunas o9.5 Rebounds (-125) Draftkings, play to 10.5 (-120)
