Pick #3: Nikola Jokic V Lebron James Head to Head Points ML Jokic (-195 DraftKings)
Jokic has averaged more points at home than Lebron has as the away team is the simple answer to this pick, but to go a little deeper I'll explain my expectations. As a Suns fan who just watched how Denver operate at home, they are menaces on defense, holding teams and stars to much lower than their usual points. Lebron will likely be shadowed by Aaron Gordon, who just had a great series locking up Durant, so I expect him to again be on Lebron hassling him all game. Jokic has been a monster and can and will score at will on AD, so I expect him to beat out Lebron here on head to head points. Only way this loses is if the Denver role players come out on fire (MPJ, Gordon, KCP) and with how the Lakers have played defense so far these playoffs I doubt that happens. I think Jokic will be needed to score. So far this post season, Lebron has scored 281 points to Jokic's 338 PLUS Jokic has played less minutes.
