Bet: Luis Ortiz 5+ Hits Allowed + Texas +2.5 -113 Ceaser’s
Really liking the over 4.5 hits allowed prop for Ortiz tonight however it’s way too juiced of a line for me to personally play straight up so pairing with a high rate SGP add-on with the Rangers alt run line.
Ortiz has pitched 2 games so far this season and has allowed 7 hits in each of those first two starts on the season. Those starts came against the Tigers and the Rockies, and now he gets an even tougher matchup against the Rangers tonight. Ortiz has allowed a .382 BABIP this season and with his low K rate of 9.1% there should be plenty of opportunities for the Rangers to get the ball in play.
Over the last 30 days, this Rangers lineup is sporting a .359 wOBA and .349 BABIP against Right-Handed pitching. In fact all 9 hitters for Texas tonight are considered high hard hitters so there should be no break in the lineup for Ortiz tonight.
