The Denver Broncos' Javonte Williams is a promising choice for over 1.5 receptions in their upcoming face-off against the Kansas City Chiefs.

No one likes a last-minute scratch, especially when it's a player like Javonte Williams who has the potential to shake things up on the fantasy football field. Williams' Week 5 absence certainly sent fantasy managers scrambling, but it's Week 6 that we're looking at, and let's just say, Williams is anything but benched in our books.

Williams has a track record that can't be ignored. Despite playing just four games this season, he's managed to churn out 38 rushes for 138 yards, averaging 3.6 yards per carry. Let's lay down some stats. Williams is averaging 2.75 receptions per game this season. When it comes to trends, Williams has hit over 1.5 receptions in all four games he has played in this season.

Now, we're not saying Williams is about to have a record-breaking game. But based on his past performance, there's a strong case to be made for him to hit over 1.5 receptions this week. Especially when we're talking about a matchup against the Chiefs, who have been solid against running backs but may find themselves blindsided by Williams' skill in the passing game.

It's important to note, the Broncos' RB1 is not just competing against the Chiefs, but also with fellow Broncos Samaje Perine and rookie Jaleel McLaughlin for those precious targets. Yet, despite this, his performance on the road and his previous record suggest that he could well exceed expectations in the upcoming game.
