Home opener tonight for the Bucks and their new and improved squad. This matchup with the 76ers has been more and more of a rivalry as stars have emerged. Giannis has shown out in all of these matchups and I expect that to happen again tonight. Dating back to 2019, Giannis has cleared this number in 14 of 15 games. The 76er's want to try and slow down the pace and make this into a dog fight, but the Bucks last year and I expect this year, are hyper efficient on the offensive and defensive end, ranking top 5 in both. The Bucks since getting Brook Lopez have really allowed their opponents to shoot 3s, but not score in the paint. The last 5 matchups in this series, the 76er's have attempted over 35 3 pointers in 3 of those, which leads to long rebounds. Embiid also helps Giannis here as well, though he doesn't guard him, having Embiid play in the post with Giannis on help side allows all of those post up shots/kick out threes to find their way to Giannis.
