Tonight the Raiders take on the Detroit Lions in Detroit as 7 point underdogs. I love Meyers tonight and here is why. Jimmy G is back and healthy, which is the only reason you should want to play Meyers. In 4 games where Jimmy G has been healthy along with Jakobi Meyers has had 23%, 34.5%, 27% and 38.5% of the target share. He has hit this number in every single game so far that Jimmy has played in as well. 6 receptions sitting at plus money is a gift from the gambling gods. Also, the Raiders are very dependent on their running game, but tonight that should be tough sledding. Jacobs on the season is averaging 2.9 yards per carry and the Lions are top 3 in explosive runs allowed, yards per carry and yards per game for their rushing defense. I think we see Jimmy G throw the ball around the yard tonight, in a dome, and if we see 40 attempts, we should see at least 7-9 targets heading Meyers way. We could also see a little dip in his 15.4 air yards per catch tonight with Aiden Hutchinson and this Lions front 7 dominating so far this season. Regardless, I think Meyers gets a lot of work tonight and all of these pass catchers should be ready to be a focal point of this offense on MNF.
