They lead the NBA averaging 125 points per game, and the Hawks not far behind them at 119. Haliburton is having an All NBA start to the season. He is averaging 23.5 points and 11.6 assists per game, tops in the NBA. Haliburton is also tops in the NBA in potential assists, so we shouldn't see that assist number drop too much throughout the season. 20 potential assists per game and also top 10 in drives per game in the NBA. That is important because the Hawks allow 54.2 points in the paint per game, so if Haliburton does decide to take the shot himself, he should have little to no resistance. Lastly, I wanted to hit on the Hawks three point defense. At home this season the Hawks are allowing teams to shoot 39.7% from deep. That ranks them second last to only the Memphis Grizzlies. With shooters like Buddy Hield, Benedict Mathurin and even Myles Turner, I think Haliburton has an absolute field day with this defense in what should be the game of the night. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he himself is shooting 46.7 percent from the 3 point line.
