Mikal Bridges Under 18.5 Pts (-112 FD)

Running this prop back even though we lost by one point last time but this time Cam Johnson is back to take some usage away from Bridges. Johnson sat out that game in what was the second leg of a back to back so he should be fully rested and ready to go tonight. In games with Cam Thomas and Cam Johnson but without Ben Simmons, he’s gone under this prop in 17 of 32 games, but since the trade deadline he is under this prop in 7 of 8 games. In 7 of those 8 games, he’s also taken 16 or less field goal attempts. The Nets are starting to get the young players more reps as they are officially eliminated from the playoffs. He’s gone under this prop with 16 or less attempts playing 30+ minutes with Thomas & Johnson playing while Simmons sits in 9 of 14 games, including all five games since the trade deadline. The Pacers are still one of the top spot up defenses and will make it tough for him to get those threes off with clean looks as they don’t sag off defenders or play much help defense. Last time I predicted Aaron Nesmith would be his primary defender and he ended up being his primary defender for 33 partial possessions. He made some tough midrange shots, which he typically struggles with, but with Johnson back those midrange shots should go to him along with Thomas.

Deandre Ayton Over 35.5 Pts+Reb (-118 FD)

Last time he played the Hornets back in late February, he went for 26 points and 19 rebounds. In the past 10 games the Hornets are bottom five in allowing opponent rebounds. Since Simons has been out, his shot usage has benefited greatly, seeing 21, 15 and 18 field goal attempts, with the 15-attempt game being a 25-minute game in that horrible loss to the Heat. In games with 30+ minutes, he’s gone over this prop in 7 of his last 10 games, while also taking 17+ field goal attempts in 7 of those 10 games. He’s gone over in 5 of 8 games with 30+ minutes and 17+ field goal attempts since the deadline. No Simons, Grant, and many more leaves a lot of shots to go around, and Ayton should be one of those primary benefactors.
