The Royals are one of the most surprising teams early on this year and I expect that to continue today. The Royals play in Chicago today, against the lowly White Sox. The White Sox trot out a rookie in Nick Nastrini. Through 7 innings this year he has allowed a .364 batting average and a 7.71 ERA. The last two seasons he has had 109 walks in 210 innings, resulting in a little over 4 innings per start. Royals are top 10 in the MLB .752 OPS against RHP this season. The White Sox Bullpen is also struggling as well. They have the 3rd worst WHIP in the MLB in terms of WHIP and have a 4.19 Bullpen ERA. The Royals have hit this number in 4 of the last 6 games. Even without Perez in the lineup tonight, the top 4 in this lineup have really started heating up as of lately. I am expecting this Royals team to get to the bullpen early and get a hold of this lowly White Sox bullpen.
