Welcome back gang! We are headed back to Kansas City for another Pine Prop of the Day. Heading to Salvador Perez over 1.5 HRRBI -130.

Perez has been a beast for the surprising Royals this season, and has a great spot tonight for us. Perez gets a home matchup against Dean Kremer of the Orioles. Perez has done great work against both sides of the plate this season, batting .385 versus lefties and .309 versus righties. The Royals as a team have been great at home as well, averaging 6.1 runs per game, which is 3rd in the MLB behind the Braves and Cubs. Now let's take a look at the pitching breakdown between Perez and Kremer. Kremer features 60% 4 seam/Cutter, below are the numbers Perez has against all of these pitches.

Four seamer - .327 XBA/1.015 XSLG and 66.7% hard hit rate                                                             Cutter - .455 BA/.769 XSLG and 63.6% hard hit rate

Lastly, Kremer is elite at keeping the ball in the zone. He is top 5% in the MLB in walk rate and Sal Perez has ranked in the bottom 5% of walk rate every year for the past 7 years. Lots of strikes mixed with an expected slugging against over .600 and Perez smoking his two primary pitches, I am expecting a big showing from Salvy in this one at Kauffman Stadium.
