After a brief hiatus from Pine’s favorite community challenge, let’s see if Season 13 harbors luck.

With the Washington Football Team losing decisively against the Bills and the Giants continuing to defeat themselves, the NFC East lead is wide open for today’s Monday Night Football winner.

In three out of the four games so far, Dallas and Philadelphia have passed for under 275 yards while rushing for over 150 yards. The one game which does not fall under this umbrella was Dallas' season opener against the Bucs, who have the second worst pass defense.

However, Dallas has the worst passing defense, allowing at least 330 passing yards against Tom Brady and Justin Herbert. Albeit Jalen Hurts is not quite at their level yet, even if he has looked better than expected. The O/U of 243.5 passing yards is too rich for my blood.

Dallas’ competition this season significantly favors passing over rushing, which helps explain Dallas holding both opponents to under 100 rushing yards. However, this is in line with what these teams average and we see Philadelphia averages almost 70 more rushing yards per game.

A chest injury limited Miles Sanders in practice throughout the week, so his 57.5 rushing yard O/U is not a guarantee (although, I feel this is still a solid pick).

While Cowboys rookie LB Micah Parsons will probably try to contain Hurts, the Cowboys' lackluster pass defense should give Hurts the space he needs for a handful of eight to ten yard scrambles to move the chains. For QBs with at least five pass attempts per game, Hurts ranks fourth in yards per rushing attempt and is the top “mobile” quarterback.

Lock It In: Jalen Hurts Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
