If the Raiders will join the Arizona Cardinals as the league’s only 4-0 teams, Derek Carr must continue his amazing year.

---

Derek Carr has had a career season through the first three games. Not only is he averaging over 300 yards passing for the first time in his career, but he is averaging over 400 yards. This average pairs with over 45 passing attempts per game and no significant hit to his completion percentage. Carr is only second to Tom Brady in passing attempts per game.

Already facing off against two Top 15 defenses (Baltimore and Pittsburgh), Carr has had at least 380 yards, 26 completions, and two touchdowns in every game.

Despite having one of the best opponent PPG marks, the Chargers are in the middle for total opponent yards, allowing just over 370 yards per game.

However, their stellar pass defense has only allowed 210 yards per game with 21.33 completions. Mind you, two of those games were against Top 10 QBs in Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes.

Both Prescott and Mahomes notched mid-200-yard games with at least 23 completions. Washington’s Taylor Heinicke brings down the total significantly, with his 14-completion, 135-yard game.

Given the Raiders and Chargers run high-play, pass-heavy offenses (both above 67 plays per game and 64% pass plays), I expect both teams to run 70-75 plays in a high-scoring shootout between Carr and Herbert. While the Raiders will probably incorporate a larger ground attack, Carr should have at least 37 pass attempts. His O/U is currently 36.5.

The Slip:

Alternate Spread/Total Parlay - Raiders +9.5/Over 45.5 (+105)

Derek Carr Over 24.5 Completions (-105) - Lock It In Challenge Pick

Herbert and Carr Combined Over 649.5 Passing Yards (+130)
