Nba has been off to an exciting start, and while I've had trouble focussing on anything other than the ICC Cricket World Cup, i've been testing some wagers with our NBA bot in Discord and as of this morning, was in the Top 100 out of over 8,000 listed Discord users who have used the bot. Most of it is already placed on games today, but so far have run up $10 of bot money to over $400 on NBA straight bets. Using that, in combination with my Pine Predict model, I'm ready to really start firing on some NBA this season.

 Here are today's predictions:

For starters, Portland ML as they travel to LAC is a bet that I am really a fan of. Good odds there, and model agrees with me in thinking that Portland comes out on top more often than not. Definitely not fading Charlotte right now either, who have already won games in Brooklyn and Cleveland as well as their home season opener against the Pacers. They get another home game today against a 1-2 Celtics team. Denver and Atlanta alternate spreads, closer to ML than where lines are currently listed, are better value options as opposed to their ML in my opinion. -600 ain't worth shit but I like including the alt spreads that fall around the -200 to -250 mark into my selections on games like that. My favorite pick of the day, and my first LIIC pick of the week, is Chicago Bulls ML (-150) as they travel to Toronto. My model shows them at 66.7% chance of vicotry with implied odds of 60% based off the -150 price. I like that a lot.

Game 1 Scores (CHI v DET | TOR v WAS)

Game 2 Scores (CHI v NO | TOR v BOS)

Game 3 Scores (CHI v DET | TOR v DAL)

Chicago has scored no less than 94 points in any of their 3 games so far, all 3 of which they have won. They have also only allowed over 90 points in 1 of their three wins. Toronto has a 1-2 record so far and were held to less than 85 points in 1 game, while allowed 98 or more in 2 of their 3 games.

Average True Shooting Percentage, Three Point Percentage, and Free Throw Percentage

Chicago tops Toronto in all 3 of these categories, perhaps most notably in 3 point % where Chicago is making 41% and Toronto only 26%. Chicago has a 56% True Shooting % which is significantly stronger than Toronto's 47.2%. For all of these reasons, I am locking in Chicago Bulls ML for pick number 1 this week.Â
