Just messing around with the data and some props when they show up.

Tonight will try out by taking Julius Randle as the top point scorer at +350.

Methodology (I'll figure out image adding later - just want to get some of this on paper)

  1. Other than LeBron James he scored the most points against the matchup team in previous year (I know 'mean' might be a better view than 'sum', but am testing)
  2. Not all players were available from each team and based on average points per game this year, he was next to the top behind Steph (I wouldnt take at -450) and LeBron (who might not play tonight)

  3. He plays a ton of minutes and takes a ton of shots, NY and PHI are neck and neck in the division yet NY is in 4th with PHI at 8th in the conference.
  4. Lastly looking at ESPN Rating for the year (Nikola wasn't an option and prob not worth the pick like Curry at -450) he's the next man up that's playing tonight.

Any ideas or suggestions at combing data sets I'm all ears.
