For this pick, I am taking the lightning who have shown that they still have some fire left over from the last two seasons. Coming over an OT win and an OT loss against two of the best teams in the league, they are at home against and islanders team that has been mediocre to start the year. The Isles are coming off a brutal loss to a Devils team that is without their young star. I do not think the islanders have it in them to withstand the offense let alone get past Vasilevsky.
