Pick #2: Atalanta to win (1.69)
The odds for this game has been dropping like crazy, yesterday during the day it was sitting at 1.90 and right now seems like it will be around 1.60 before the game. Atalanta is undoubtably the better team on paper and on top of that they need the win today. They are on 5 points while United and Villarreal are on 7. So with win today they can potentially get on top of one of them before the last game of the group stages, which would put them in a very good spot. On the other hand Young Boys in my opinion have no chance on this group, yes mathematically they do, but facing Atalanta and then United makes it impossible for them imo.
I simply don’t get the YB hype, yes they beat United but they have been atrocious all the other games. I watched their first game against Atalanta and YB seemed like a mediocre team, not creating a single chance. On top of that, they got battered by Villarreal 1-4 at home and they have not been more impressive in the league either where they have just 1 win out of their last 5. Atalanta has been getting better since the start of the season and should easily take this one home today scoring multiple goals and as for YB I don’t see them scoring more than 1 today.
