Pick #1: Manchester United to win (1.55)

Lets not overthink it and go for the obvious pick. Since Ole was fired United have been in a great form and have shown a big improvement. Sancho seems to have found a bit of his last years form as well.

Today is the first game for their new manager Ralf Rangnick, who is a big figure in German football. As such I think he would love to get a W in his first game with the club, especially at Old Trafford. On the other hand Crystal Palace are struggling this season and have managed to get only one win away from home which ironically was against Man City. However, I don’t think they will be able to repeat that success. Ronaldo and co should be able to easily take this one, the only risk I see is Zaha and his speed on the counter but Man United proved against Villarreal and Chelsea that they have improved quite a lot defensively following the new tactics of Carrick and I expect Rangnick to make it even better.

So, I think at these odds United is a must pick as I expected their odds to be well under 1.50 but oh well.
