Tonight, on The Dog Pound, I will talk about the Steelers verse Vikings game. Focusing on the underdogs, as we do here, I went into the night with low hopes for the Steelers. However, as they have consistently done this season, they proved my loss of hope wrong in the fourth quarter.

I found myself frustrated with the complete lack of success in the Steelers offensive team the whole game. Every time I thought they would get through the Vikings defensive line, they got pounded in the process.

After their first touchdown in the third quarter and still, down 17 points, I honestly thought it was over for them.

But, alas, their fourth-quarter comeback came alive. Scoring 21 points and almost getting a touchdown in the last two seconds, the Stealers made an impressive turnaround for themselves.

As seen from our AI modeled chart above, the Steelers perform significantly better in the fourth quarter of their games rather than the Vikings, who keep their performance consistent throughout. Determination? Change of headspace? Overcoming the pregame butterflies? Who knows, but it works for them.

Now taking let’s take a look at their soon-to-be Hall of Famer quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, and how our player prop predictions did.

Roethlisberger had one passing interception, three passing touchdowns, and 7.7 yards per passing attempt. Our prop predictions were spot on for tonight.

All in all, I would say this was a great night to use our prop projections and a great night to watch football. Tonight has been The Dog Pound; come back next time to see which team we watch next!
