Welcome and good evening! Tonight, on The Dog Pound, we used the Player Prop Projection along with the Prediction AI Model tool to see how our NFL underdogs, LA Chargers, would perform against Kansas City.

First and foremost, what a game. I don’t know if I’ve ever been as invested in a game as I was tonight. The back and forth, the overtime, even the injury, I was on the edge of my seat, ready to dive off.

Speaking of, I have to say, Parham’s injury was pretty bad–carried out in a stretcher within the first 10 minutes! It was evident the damage took a toll on the Chargers at first. The first quarter was rough after the medics took Parham off the field.

However, I will say, the Chargers had a pretty unexpected yet impressive turnaround in the second quarter. By halftime, the Chargers were up 14-10.

We predicted Kansas City for the winner, 90.17. Of course, our prediction was valid. But I will say I had my doubts on multiple accounts. I mean, Herbert was putting the Chargers right into the 5-yard line.

But the Chiefs just kept knocking the Chargers out of the end zone.

We were spot on with our projected winner. The Chiefs took down the Chargers in OT, finishing at 34 to 28.

Looking further at our quarterback, Herbert, I got to say he is putting the pressure on. Mahomes even looked a little nervous! Our player prop favored the over 2.38 passing touchdowns and projected a coin toss for 287.8 passing yards.

Tonight, we saw him set the new record for most passing yards in a player’s first two seasons in NFL history. I mean, if that doesn’t show you how talented Herbert is, I don’t know what will (what can I say, I’m a big fan).

Herbert only hit 236 yards, thus, missing the coin flip. We were close on the passing touchdowns, but by the end of overtime, Herbert only had 2.

Thus, ending the night with a sad loss for the Chargers, but a great game for football fans! As always, this has been The Dog Pound, have a great night.
