Welcome back to tonight's edition of The Dog Pound, and let's just say it's a good one. Tonight, I watched our underdogs, the New York Knicks, take on the Boston Celtics. This game was fast-paced, unpredictable, and a can't miss (just like Evan Fournier and his 10 for 14 three throw shots).

Let's start with the fourth quarter because, well, it was insane. If you missed what happened, less than 20 seconds on the clock and the Celtics just tied up the Knicks, making the score 105-105. RJ Barrett put up a three-pointer with 1.5 seconds left in the game, thus the winning basket.

Again, shout out to Fournier and his three-pointers today: unmatched. I highly recommend watching the clips of both Barrett Fournier'ser's baskets tonight if you missed the game.

Now, let me admit that this outcome was unexpected. At least I never expected a win for our underdogs after the Celtics destroyed the Knicks in the first half—the amount of three points they made, it was one right after the other.

What’s another thing that’s fast-paced, unpredictable, and a can’t miss? Julius Randle. Randle is genuinely one of my favorite players to watch. He makes baskets easily and is a key offensive player. More than happy to see him play in his second game back after his suspension due to Covid.

However, the one thing about Randle is he isn’t a playmaker. Sure, he can get numbers up on the scoreboard, but can he make his teammates look good? Not always, which explains his basket to assist ratio. Let’s take a look at our player prop predictions verse what happened.

Our robot projected 4.58 assists and 20.92 points for Randle. Our robot thought both props were a coin-flip, which was an excellent projection considering Randle ended with two assists and 22 points on the board.

Overall, this was an incredible night to watch if you're a Knicks fan. The outcome may have been unexpected, letting some Boston fans down, but this is the first win for our underdogs. I couldn’t be happier.

Thanks for coming in tonight. Catch you on Tuesday’s edition of The Dog Pound.
