Good evening and welcome, folks! In today’s edition of The Dog Pound, we will take the same route as last Thursday. In case you missed that, since our site is the best betting tool on the web, I will use Pine’s tools to tell you about my top picks for tonight’s game, the Knicks verse the Heat.

The current over-under is 203 for tonight’s game. Miami’s average point per game is 108.5745 and 103.9167 for the Knicks. With these averages, I am betting on the over tonight, and I suggest you do as well, considering both teams have let up a significant number of points for their opponents this season.

After Miami Heat stayed true to their name and are on fire so far this season, they are ranked 5th in the NBA, while our clear underdogs (the Knicks) are ranked 21st. While I obviously would love for our underdogs to take the win tonight, my bets are on Miami with their money line at -230.

Let’s take a look at our key players to watch for tonight.

I know we usually focus on our underdogs, but I have an honorary mention for the Heat. Jimmy Butler is one of the top players in the league and will undoubtedly play a vital role tonight. During Sunday night’s game, where the Heat took their seventh win in nine games, Butler ended the night with a triple-double with 20 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.

At a prop line at 18.5, our bot favors the over with Butler’s projection at 20.33. I have to say I agree with the over. I’m expecting at least 20 points tonight especially considering Butler’s past performances against better defensive teams like the Lakers, where Butler had 20 points (as previously mentioned).

All I have to say is the Knicks defense better step up their game with top scorers like Butler and Bam Adebayo on the court tonight.

For our underdogs, let’s take a look at RJ Barrett. For points, the prop line is at 19.5. However, Barrett has 22.5 points per game average, explaining why our bot favors the over with a projection of 22.10. I have to say I’m leaning towards the over, even with a more challenging opponent. I’ll always favor the over with Barrett, and I think the prop line is typically underwhelming. I expect more from the Knicks ’ top player.

All in all, it should be a great game to watch tonight; I hope you get the chance to watch it. Thanks for coming to this edition of The Dog Pound; see you next time!
