Hello and welcome back to another edition of Pine's NBA Daily Fantasy picks. Last Tuesday, Trae Young dropped 41 points against his arch rivals, the Knicks fanbase. RJ Barrett scored 30 and Bones Hyland collected a cool 16 off the bench for Denver. Going 6 for 6 on fantasy picks is quite hard but it's a task made much easier by Pine's expert AI tools and charts. We have a fun slate of games tonight so let's get started!

MVP of the Day: $9,400 Clippers SG Paul George @ Chicago (This Month: 57.5 Fantasy Points Per Game)

This is an admittedly risky pick but what PG did against a top ten Jazz defense was enough to convince me to take him here. He is thousands cheaper than top picks Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nets F Kevin Durant while having the same scoring potential. With no Kawhi Leonard, he is the nucleus of the Clippers offense and should see a large amount of volume. Against the Jazz, he attempted 20 field goals and made ten of those. If that doesn't impress you, he went 6 of 9 from three. This doesn't bode well for a Bulls team that is bottom 5 in 3 point percentage allowed. PG also can carve up a weak paint presence with DeMar Derozan manning the 4 and Vucevic at the 5.

I'm taking PG here in a statement game against one of the East's best teams.

Mid Level Gem: $8,800 Jazz SG Donovan Mitchell v Lakers (This Month: 43 fPPG)

The Spidah is an easy pick here with a smash matchup against a Lakers team without their main man, LeBron James. Without Lebron in the Lakers lineup, LA has a defensive rating of 112. This would be good for the 10th worst dRating in the league. The DON is averaging 25 points a game against LA this season and a very respectable six assists. Mitchell is also hot right now, scoring 30+ in four of his last six contests. Utah is looking to get redemption over an embarrassing loss to the Clippers while the Lakers have nothing really to play for with their fate all but sealed.

Diamond in the Rough: $6,500 Sixers PG Tyrese Maxey @ Detroit (This Month: 28 fPPG)

Maxey is slowly becoming the third star in a very scary Sixers offensive attack. The trade for disgruntled SG James Harden seems to have opened a new door for Maxey as his PPG has increased by 5 with Harden on the court. Since the addition of Harden, Maxey has also seen his 3 point percentage increase to 46%. With a matchup against a horrid Pistons perimeter defense, Maxey will have plenty of opportunity to shine. For those worried about Harden and Embiid cutting into Maxey's volume, Tyrese has had double digit attempts in his past 6 games. There isn't much reason to pay attention to this blowout worthy matchup, but the heroics of Tyrese in your lineup may be a big one.

Also, If you like a little bit of fun competition. Pine has just rolled out a brand new Head to Head game called Prop Master.
