Today we have two + money spots going in the Nationals vs Mets game.

Pete Alonso o1.5 Total Bases +115 C

Pete Alonso 1+ Hit/Yadiel Hernandez 1+ Hit +115 DK

Since the beginning of last season, targeting Patrick Corbin on the mound has been an absolute goldmine. Corbin is currently boasting an 0-5 record with a 7.16 ERA this year, not quite off to the start that he hoped. Additionally, his better outings have come with Riley Adams behind the plate considering he's a much better pitch framer then Ruiz. Despite that, I think they choose to go with Ruiz for offensive purposes tonight, there are also rumors that Tres Barrera will be called up to take over that secondary catcher position, which would negatively impact Corbin.

That being said, its clear Pete Alonso doesn't need any help taking care of the Nationals. Not only does he have a hit in 6 straight games against Patrick Corbin, but a hit in 9 of his last 10 total games against the Nationals. Alonso is 11-32 vs Corbin with 4 HR's and 7 RBI's, I expect one of the Mets most dominant hitters to continue to play well this series. The projections have him for 1.71, and as you can see above, 5/L10 games vs the Nationals were multi-hit games.

On the other side of the ball, Yadiel Hernandez is playing his best baseball right now. He's averaging .365 on the season, and .480 in the month of May. Hernandez didn't start the season in the lineup, but considering the fact that he's been there more reliable hitter outside of Josh Bell, I expect to continue to see him in the starting lineup.  Mets pitching has been strong this season, but I'm still expecting Yadiel to continue his 6 game hit streak today.
