Well it's about that time. The time of year where the NBA playoff games are no longer daily, but every game means more. So while we wait for the NBA Finals to start, let's shift our focus over to baseball. There is large slate of baseball games and Thrive has us covered with some great lines. Let's get into it.

Angels CF Mike Trout: Over 0.5 Hits (80 Thrive Points)

The three time MVP is off to yet another dazzling start. He's hitting .310 and has 13 Home Runs, good for fourth best in the MLB. He's collected a hit in six of his past ten games, including 3 multi-hit efforts. Mike Trout always shines against the Yankees. He's hitting .323 against the Bronx Bombers in their notoriously hitter-friendly ballpark, since 2018. On the mound will be southpaw Jordan Montgomery who has solid numbers. However, Trout is hitting .425 in 51 plate appearances against left-handed pitching. With Trout off to a hot start and hammering lefties, I'm rocking the over. Here's the MLB leaders in batting average this season.

Yankees OF Aaron Judge: Over 1.5 Total Bases (115 Thrive Points)

We're going to keep it with the Yankees v Angels and go with my favorite upset pick of the night; Aaron Judge with the over. Judge is averaging 2.6 total bases over his past ten games and has gotten multiple bases in 5 of his past ten games. He's hitting .309 and has had four home runs in his past ten as well. The Angels have been floundering from a pitching standpoint. They are on a five game losing streak and have given up an average of seven runs a game during this span. Against the Angels, Aaron Judge is hitting .298 in his career with 7 home runs and 48 total bases in 22 games. Lock this underdog in.

Twins OF Byron Buxton: Under 2.5 Total Bases (70 Thrive Points)

This one won't save your slip but it is a guaranteed 70 Thrive Points. Just take it from the robot who is giving this a 98% chance of hitting the under.

Buxton has not gotten 3+ total bases in his past ten games and has only done it twice in his past fifteen. He's hitting an abysmal .203 this season and has struck out more times than he's been on base. He's not even been on base in six games against Detroit this season. Since the 2020 season, he's hitting .203 against the Motor City Kitties. Lock this one and don't even sweat checking the box score.
