Tatum has hit this line in 8 of the L10 games. He struggled on the glass in G1 (and had at least 1 rebound taken away), but luckily his line dropped from 7.5à6.5. Late in the game Udoka figured out he must stagger the minutes of Horford and Robert Williams, which bodes well for Tatum grabbing rebounds in those scenarios as he struggles with both bigs on the floor. Regarding his assists, the line hasn’t properly adjusted yet. Books are banking on G1 being a flash in a pan vs a trend for the series and I’m buying it being a trend for the series based on how the Warriors are playing Tatum: shelling him off and leaving open shooters on the floor for Boston. I can’t see GS adjusting much from G1 as they did play well for 3 quarters. We could see Tatum average close to 10 assists for the series if this stays in place. Rolling with Tatum filling up the stat sheet. Doesn’t hurt that he’s now the odds-on favorite to win Finals MVP, you think he checks that?
