Last night was another successful night for Thrive users following my column, as Verlander struck out 12, Seager went hitless, but Mullins got four bases on a homer. Any good better doesn't dwell on the previous days wins and losses though. So that's why it's time to get back into the hottest locks for Thrive Fantasy, powered by Pine Sports. We have an all important Game 3 of the NBA Finals so lets get locked in.

Celtics F Jayson Tatum: Under 29.5 Points (90 Thrive Points)

Our first lock is sure to grab you some points because playoff Tatum is on the struggle bus. Over his past ten games, he is averaging 23 points and has yet to have a thirty point effort since Game six in Miami. This is partly due to shaky shooting like his 3-17 game in game one and a Warriors defense that is honed in on stopping him. Wiggins is an amazing defender and has a lot of help around him when he gets beat, not only that but the return of Gary Payton II has made scoring much harder for this Celtics bunch. Tatum has failed to put up 30 against the Warriors in 2022 and going back to 2017, has only done it once. The C's may have home field advantage but I think Tatum's production will be heavily limited

Warriors F Draymond Green: Over 4.5 Assists (80 Thrive Points)

I mean how could you not love the over here??? Draymond Green has proved time and time again that he is the glue of this Warriors and his assists numbers have proved it throughout these playoffs. He's averaging 6.3 dimes a game in the playoffs and has recorded 5+ assists in nine of his past ten games. If we widen the sample size to 15 games, that number increases to 13 games. He's averaging six against the Celtics and contributed to open passing lanes in game two. Green will make you some green tonight on this one. Here's the leaders in assists in the NBA Finals.

Warriors F Andrew Wiggins: Over 6.5 Rebounds + Assists (85 Thrive Points)

This is another of Pine's famed robot locks. We've seen its ire directed at Robert Williams but with him out of Thrive contests, it has picked a new favorite player. That man is Andrew Wiggins who is getting a 81% Chance of hitting the over on rebounds+assists.

It's clear to see why. He's averaging 8.6 RA in his past ten games and has only failed to hit the line three times. Over the course of the season and Finals, he's averaging 7 RA against Boston, which is cutting it a tad close. This is mostly due to Wiggins having to worry about being the primary defender on Jayson Tatum. But with Gary Payton II back and an improved defensive scheme from game one, I think some of the weight is being lifted off his shoulders and he can focus more on providing defensively.
