Hello Pine users and welcome back to another edition of my best bets column. Last night was a rough one with no bet hitting but we bounce back. Tonight we have some important MLB matchups as we move into the dog days of summer. As the days heat up so do the locks so don't miss out on some money making opportunites on Thrive Fantasy. Here are my locks for tonights games.

Phillies RF Bryce Harper: Over .5 Runs (110 Thrive Points)

Ever since the firing of manager Joe Girardi, the Phillies have been on an absolute tear. So has Bryce Harper, who has been hitting .428 since Girardi was booted on June 3rd. He has also collected a run in seven of ten games since the change in skippers. Opposing pitcher Trevor Rogers only lasted 1 full inning in his last start against Philadelphia, giving up seven runs. He owns a season ERA of 5.58, which is absolutely atrocious. Harper has been getting on base and the Phillies offense has been driving him in at a very healthy rate, so its no surprise this pick is landing as one of my best bets.

Guardians 3B Jose Ramirez: Over .5 Hits (90 Thrive Points)

Many talented players have played at Progressive Field over the years but Ramirez has proven himself to be the most talented out of the bunch. He's helping to lead this new look Guardians team to an AL Central title and is playing like an AL MVP. In terms of recent play, he has a five game hit streak going and has hits in eleven of his past fifteen games. He's hitting .292 and leads the majors in RBI's as well. Opposing pitcher Antonio Senzatela has been absolutely abysmal with a 1.85 WHIP and 4.83 ERA. Ramirez historically is hitting .400 against him so a hit here is a lock. Here are the major league leaders in OPS.

Yankees OF Aaron Judge: Over .5 Hits (80 Thrive Points)

Speaking of AL MVP, Aaron Judge is also making an incredible case for the American League's most prestigious award. The robot is head over heels in love with the over on this one with an 81% chance of hitting.

I mean why wouldn't it be? Judge has a hit in 9 of his last ten games and has five homers in the same span. He's sixth in the AL with a .318 batting average and also leads the majors with 24 home runs, which is on pace for 67 at season's end. Corey Kluber will present a challenge on the mound but I fully believe Judge will be collected his 72nd hit of the season tonight.
