Pick #2: Connecticut Sun Moneyline(+115)
The Sun are 0-2 against the Sky this year so we are getting some value on them in this 3rd matchup because these two teams are not that far off from each other. But I actually think the Sun are better despite the two losses this year to the Sky.
The Sun have last years MVP Jonquel Jones and the all star snub Courtney Williams. Its rare where you watch a WNBA game and some players stick out, but Courtney Williams is one of them. She is really quick, has a nice pull-up game, and brings tons of energy. You also have Alyssa Thomas who damn near put up a triple double in her last game against Atlanta. She finished with a stat line of 14 points 11 rebounds and 8 assists.
These girls on the Sun are some hoopers and are going against the top team in the east standings right now, so they have that extra motivational factor. And outside of Candace Parker, there is not really anyone you are afraid of on the Sky.
