I'm dipping my toe in the hit market thanks to Pine Sports for making research that much easier on me. The premise is that I found batters who have hit this line in at least 7 of the last 10 games and then I analyze their past performances against the starting pitcher tonight. These 3 guys made the cut and we are over 2-1 on our money with this approach. Let's breakdown the 3-legs:
JT Realmuto(PHI) 1+ Hit -210
Realmuto has recorded a hit in 7 of the last 10 games and 6 of the last 10 at home. Tonight, he's getting the Braves Pitcher Kyle Wright on the mound where he's had 5 AB and 2 hits (.400). What makes it interesting, is that he's had 2 home runs and 2 RBI's in those 5 AB's. I might sprinkle a few on Realmuto to hit a dinger at +480.
Alex Verdugo(BOS) 1+ Hit -210
Verdugo has logged a hit in 9 of the L10 and against TOR he's had a hit in 6 of the L10. Against Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah specifically, he's had 8 AB and 4 Hits (0.500).
Brandon Drury(CIN) 1+ Hit -200
Drury has recorded a hit 9 of his L10 games and 4 of his L5 against the Cubs. Against Cubs Pitcher Justin Steele, he recorded 1 hit in 2AB (0.500). He's been consistently seeing 4-5 plate appearances per game in the month of June and 13 RBI's in that same span.
