Todays MLB Slate brings us to the Braves & White Sox doing two things I love to do -

1) Fade Patrick Corbin

2) Play White Sox vs Left-Handed Pitching

Tim Anderson 1+ Hit/Braves F5 ML +115 FD

Fading Patrick Corbin has been one of my favorite hobbies this season, and I plan on going right back to the well today. While he has been better of late, he has a horrible track record against this Braves team that absolutely crushes left handed pitching. Additionally, the credit people are giving him is for having two outings against the Pirates and Marlins. In Corbin's two outings against the Braves this season he went 6 IP allowing 4 runs and 8 hits and 2.2 IP allowing 6 runs and 9 hits, both outings resulting in losses. Ian Anderson is 2-0 in the F5 vs the Nationals this season, who hold a .190 average vs the lefty. Overall the Braves have absolutely crushed the Nationals this season, I don't think that changes with Corbin on the mound today. The fact that this is only -150 screams trap, but I’m gonna continue to trust the process here.

Tim Anderson has been extremely consistent in the hit parlay department, and I expect that to continue today. He’s coming into this game batting .312 (9th in MLB) but that improves to an insane .465 vs LHP this season. While its a smaller sample size, Anderson (and the White Sox as a whole) absolutely crush lefties. Additionally, Anderson has been great on the road this season batting .330 with 1+ in 16 of his last 19 away games. Anderson also matches up well against Smeltzer, who primarily throws 4 seam fastball, changeup, and curveball vs RHB. Against those pitches, Anderson is batting an impressive .312/.328/.321. Getting one of the highest average hitters in baseball over the last season, in a comfortable matchup, gives me alot of confidence he gets the job done.
