Shelton – Hijikata. Shelton @ 1,7. 3/5
Everything still how i tis suppose to be according to my long term stats, so even here at reddit I am doing great. Current record here is now 45-34, +48,78+ units and ROI 18,8%
Today's pick –Shelton – Hijikata. Shelton @ 1,7. 3/5
Event: Indianapolis challenger, USA. 23,30CET
19yrs Ben Shelton, ITA university ranking nr.1 a currently already 323th player on ATP ranking is playing with 21yrs old Hijikata. Shelton reached final in Rome last week winning 6 matches and losing 75,63 to Y.Wu. Shelton is playing great and has good game for indoors.
On the other hand Hijikata played indoors in his career only 6 matches with record 3-3. Last week he lost suprisingly to Habib 67,63,76. On the grass he had 4-2 record but 1st round loss to Seppi 64,61 and at Wimbledon he lost to Kuhn in qualies finals in 4sets.
Odds are also solid because at the beginning of June Hijikata won 63,76 (8) on outside hard courts in Orlando. But here Shelton did not use his chance. On the return he won 4more points (22-18) but what made the difference was utilisation of bb (Hijikata 1from3, Shelton 0from8)
This time I guess he will be very confident after the last weeks final and I think he can beat Hijikata this time. Also the indoor court will be in his favor as he is better server (last time aces 13-4 for Shelton)
This week I am taking break from tournaments but maybe again next week I will go somewhere. In meantime you can follow me on my Twitter
