The Nationals have been in pretty awful this year and have shipped their best players out because of it which, I think was a huge mistake for their future but, as a Phillies fan it's great for us.
Anyway, The Nats are starting Cory Abbott who is making the 3rd start of his career in what will be a bullpen game for them. The Phillies have some players in that don't usually start so, that's why I think the line is set where it is. Schwarber, Hoskins and, Bohm are still in though so, I think we should still get some runs in this one. In 4 of the last 6 games the Phils have scored over 5.5 runs and in the last two against the Nats we've scored 11 and 7. In the last 5 series' that the Nats played they've given up more than 5 runs in at least 2 of the of the games in those series. In the 11 games that these teams have met this year the Phillies average 6.27 runs per game and 2 HRs per game so if the Phillies can get some runners on I think that the runs will come from the long ball. Maybe Schwarber or Hoskins can hit a dinger or 2.
