Again, with another one of these I just can’t ignore.


Again, numbers speak for themselves here. With almost 600 plate appearances total, Kluber is a well-seasoned pitcher who can get it done.


Looking again at the frequency against the wOBA, we can see here that bottom left side of the strikezone is difficult for LeMathieu to hit.

And the whiff% against the frequency here again we can see that he whiffs higher in that bottom left of the zone.


LeMathieu has gotten a few hits against Kluber, and his K% and whiff% head to head aren’t the highest on the team (looking at you Judge), but I’m trusting in the catcher to call the ball down to that outside left lower corner.
