Welcome back gang! We are back for our third straight day with a Pine Prop of the Day! So far we have started the week out 2-0 with Turner and Luka absolutely crushing their props, now it is Giannis time. As a Bucks fan, I watch almost every single Bucks game, so tonight we are rolling with Giannis over 16.5 R+A -120.

On the season, Giannis is averaging 11.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists, and has been extremely efficent in the time he is on the court. Giannis has only played 33 minutes + in 8 games this season, because of the amount of the amount of blowouts the Bucks have been involved with this season. In those 8 games, we have seen Giannis clear this number in 7 of those 8 games.  One of those eight was against tonight's foe, the Knicks, where he put up 14 rebounds and 9 assists across 39 minutes. I am not a huge head to head guy in terms of trends, but what Giannis has done versus the Knicks in his career is eye opening. In his 3 games at MSG over the past 2 seasons, Giannis is averaging, 12.6 rebounds and 8 assists across 34 minutes per game.

Alright, outside of the history between Giannis and the Knicks, what makes this a good matchup? Well, the Knicks and Bucks are both elite teams in guarding the paint. The Bucks are first in the NBA in the points in the paint allowed at only 43.8 PPG. The Knicks are not far behind sitting in 8th with only 47.8 PPG allowed in the paint. This helps because Giannis averages 13.8 drives per game which is first among non point guards. With Mitchell Robinson, Randle and Toppin in the paint, we will see more kick outs for threes, the Knicks have allowed the 2nd most threes in the NBA this season. With Allen, Lopez, Portis and the other shooters on this Bucks team, this sets up perfect for the drive and kick opportunities that normally would be layups or dunks for the League MVP. Lastly, with all the size for the Knicks and the Bucks dominating the paint defensively, I expect to see a ton of opportunities for defensive rebounds. Giannis is number 8 in the NBA with 17.8 rebounding opportunities per game #1 among non centers.
