Carlos "Cookie" Carrasco is on the hill tonight vs the Pirates. Carrasco's strikeout prop on PrizePicks today is at 5.5. With the line sitting at 5.5 do think it's kinda low vs the Pirates, but with the books its were it should be. We all know that the Pirates are a team that has a high K rate this season. Carrasco hasn't faced them yet this season so it will be his first start vs them in 2022. Carrasco has been on a but scale lately in his start has only has 1 bad start in the last 5.
Dane Dunning on PrizePicks today is at 1.5 Walks Allowed vs the A's. As we all know that Dunning is really bad when it comes to Turkey Tossing and giving up walks. This year Dunning's worse thing has been walking hitters a lot this year. He averages close to 3 walks a game this year. In home starts he's averaging 2.6 walks this season. In 65 innings of work at home he has 29 walks. With this matchup vs the A's today he has a really good chance to hit this over.
Bailey Falter today is facing the Miami Marlins in the road. The prop that is the most viable for Bailey today is his 27.5 fantasy score. This will be Falter's 3rd time facing the Marlins. The first time he faced them early in the season it was out of the bullpen. His second outing against them was his last one this month and he went 5.1 innings with 3 ER, and 3 strikeouts also got the win. Total points that he got was 25. On DK Sportsbook they have Falter at -165 for under 2.5 earned runs allowed and also -140 for over 4.5 strikeouts. If Falter does this and goes at least 5 inning with the win he will be over his 27.5 fantasy score.
Seth Brown one of the hottest hitters in the month of September. Today his prop on PrizePicks is at 0.5 Total Bases. Today he has a really good matchup vs the Texas Rangers, and Cole Regans is on the mound. Brown is one of the bigger bats in the A's lineup this year hitting in that 4 spot most of the time. He's been an above average hitter this year vs the Rangers hitting .240 in 15 games with 11 hits, 4 doubles, and 1 bomb. The one thing that sticks out a lot in those number is that he has 7 walks with that. We all know the walks don't count as a total base, but today I think Brown has a really good chance at getting a hit.
The Mustache Man himself Mr. Spencer Strider. Strider is on PrizePicks today at 7 strikeouts vs the San Francisco Giants. We all know what Strider is capable of doing during his starts and that is strike guys out. With how the Giants have been playing lately, this 7 K prop looks really solid. On Pine it has his line at 7.5 and still have a 53% on the over projecting him to get 8.45 this game. The one thing that the Giants have struggled this is on, is power pitchers that throw up in the zone. They haven't had the bat speed or plate discipline on those type of arms.
Monday September 12th starts a new week of baseball, also the season winding down. On PrizePicks today they have Mike Trout for 1.5 Total Bases vs the Guardians. Trout has been the hottest hitter on the Angels and even in the league the past 15 games. As we know the Angels aren't the best team this year, with arguably the best two players in the MLB. Mike Trout being one of them. This season has been up and down for him being on the IL for most of the season. With Trout in the lineup this year the Angels are a lot better, then when he's out of the lineup.
