I have broken down three different plays, in two different articles this morning for the Buffalo Sabres @ Ottawa Senators game, there are only two other games on the schedule for tonight and I have a found a prop in each game that I am going to break down here to round out today's NHL Card.
I've already broke down the angles I like on the Ottawa Senators side of things for this game, but as I kept digging I found one guy on the Buffalo side, that has thrived in this matchup against the Senators.
NHL scheduling never fails to baffle me with the back and forth between massive and small slates. Tonight there are only three NHL games on the schedule, but all of them have some intriguing prop angles. I am going to start the day by breaking down my picks for the Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa Senators matchup tonight at the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa.
I have already broken down five shot props this morning, but as the day went on I kept finding new angles for guys in advantageous match ups, so it is going to be a big card tonight, let's get into these last few props I have circled.
Yesterday I broke my full card down my full card here on Pine, and it resulted in a 4-0 sweep. Must be good luck right? So that is what I am going to do here again today, I have a handful of props for tonight's massive NHL slate, Let's get into it.
It's a small slate today, only four NHL games on the docket for tonight, and I have a small card tonight to go with it. I thought I'd take the time to break down my full card here on Pine and give my thoughts behind each of these plays.
The Devils have been a prop wagon to start the season ranking No. 2 in Shots For/60, No. 2 in High Danger Corsi For/60, No. 4 Goals For/60, and No. 2 in Expected Goals For/60. The Senators on the other hand, have been a mixed bag, they give up a ton of shots and goals, but also take a bunch and score a bunch, which should make this a great game for props, at least on the Devils side.
There are only three NHL games on the docket for tonight, I have found one spot in each game I like for tonight, it's not a slate I am in love with, so I am just going to shell up and ride with a couple of the clear standout targets tonight.
The New Orleans Pelicans opened their season by putting up 130 points en route to beating the Brooklyn Nets by 22 points as +3 point underdogs going into the game. Tonight, the Pelicans will be matching up with the Charlotte Hornets ranked No. 26 in points allowed, and I think I found the prop I want to kick off my NBA season with.
The streak is now six, with Reilly Smith covering his shot line two nights ago. There is another full slate tonight, with a better selection of games, and I think I have found the prop that is going to extend this streak, and it will finally be a new face to the prop of the day series.
