We got a lovely slate on Thursday Night, with 7 games on the ticker and some great looking spots. A couple I am honing in on is the Carolina Hurricanes vs Pittsburgh Penguins and the Calgary Flames vs the LA Kings.
Martin Necas has really grown into his own this year. He has been a shot on goal animal and has proceeded to hit in 73% of all games this year, including 3 in a row and 12 of his L14 games. He hit in back to back games vs PIT this year with 5 and then 6 SOG in the 2 games this season.

The problem is Necas alone is not a good enough stand alone piece. Thats why I am looking at Kevin Fiala as my second piece. Fiala away from home has hit in 11 straight games and in all but 3 games, he has flown past his 2.5 line. Fiala is averaging 4.6 SOG in his L5 and 4.5 in his L10 at home. He is also averaging 7 SA in that same time period which is 3 more shots attempted per game then he does away from home in his L10.
